As President of the Jacksonville Beaches Woman's Club I would like to invite you to join us at one of our meetings and have the opportunity to see us in action, meet some of our members and then decide if our club is right for you.
Our club meets on the first Tuesday of each month, September through May at Selva Marina Country Club in Atlantic Beach. Meet and greet is at 10:30, meeting at 11:00, and lunch is served at 12:30. Cost for lunch is $17.50.
Club History
Originally named Pablo Beach Civic League on May 26, 1924. The Jacksonville Beaches Woman's Club formed under its new name on December 20, 1935. The club was Federated with the General Federation of Woman's Clubs and the Florida Federation of Woman's Clubs (in District 4) in March 1939.
In the ensuing years, the club has continued to identify and vigorously promote community and charitable work with financial contributions and thousands of hands-on volunteer hours each year for diverse social, civic, and educational projects throughout the community, the First Coast, and beyond.
